I’ve helped hundreds of lawyers make successful career transitions.
Now, with years of experience helping hundreds of lawyers of all seniority levels land roles that align with their skills and goals, I know this:
Many brilliant lawyers with fantastic, relevant experience have significant struggles during the job search process.
I’m passionate about bringing clarity, transparency, and support to lawyers’ career transitions. Whether you want to go in-house, lateral to another firm, move to a public interest role, or do something else entirely, I help lawyers identify the best opportunities, craft effective resumes and cover letters, interview like a pro, and negotiate compensation.
As a former practicing lawyer turned career coach, I designed and led the career coaching and job placement program for a top law firm before founding Your Next Law Job.
I started out as an associate at a large law firm in New York. When I was ready to move on to my next role, I had no idea where to start.
About me
I have coached hundreds of lawyers of all seniority levels, from junior associates to partners and general counsel. I've helped lawyers do the "impossible:" go directly from associate to general counsel, change practice areas as a mid-level associate, and go in-house without taking a pay cut, to name a few.
I graduated from Harvard Law School and practiced at Davis Polk in New York. I then served as Law Editor of Vault.com, where I oversaw Vault’s Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms and got to read 17,000+ associate survey responses about all facets of law firm life. I went on to run the career coaching and job placement program at Sullivan & Cromwell, before founding Your Next Law Job.
